Astute businessman, scholar and family man, he has seen the smooth and the rough sides of Hajj and Umrah opreations in Nigeria. A well read and widely travelled man, his hobbies include reading, writing, travelling and teaching his family. He writes a weekly column in Leadership Newspaper on Fridays. His experience is brought to bear on the activities of Comerel which he made into a household name in Abuja in no time.

 

He was educated at the Bayero University where he read Law and had a stint at the prestigious Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt. He is currently reading English at the University of Abuja.

 

He was also a direct pupil of the late sage and eminent scholar, Sheikh Abubakar Gumi. From him he drank from a deep pool of beneficial knowledge. He was also in South Africa under the direct tutelage of the late Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, the eminent Muslim scholar of the Christian Bible. He is married with two children.

Yusuf S.O Usman joined COMEREL from a news media organization although he was once in the hospitality industry with a hotel in Kaduna. He has however become one of the leading experts in Hajj and Umrah logistics planning in Abuja.

 

An unassuming, young and agile achiever, he has organised and led quite a number of successful tours both Umrah and Hajj.

 

In reward of his excellent services, he was promoted this year to the position of General Manager of Comerl Travels and Tours.

 

He was educated at both the Kwara State Polytechnic and ABU Zaria where he read Accountancy. He is a chartered accountant by training but has totally immersed himself in the details of Hajj and Umrah VIP Operations.

 

Yusuf is married with three children

Ibrahim O. Balogun heads the administrative department. He sees to the formulatrion of policies in liaison with the General Manager and the Managing Director.

 

He also sees to the production of all company documents, brochures, manuals as well as advertorials. He is young and vibrant, ever ready to learn. He was educated at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso where he read Electronics and Electrical Enginering. He has experience with Hajj and Tour operations too, having being under the tutelage of the Managing Director since he joined the company in 2008.

 

He is an avid reader, technology buff and loves travelling.

 

He is also married with two children.
